Why Our Prices Are Different

Previously cherished fine jewelry should be priced around what it is—not around an inflated story. Revival pieces are selected one at a time and priced using their materials, craftsmanship, condition, documentation, comparable market evidence and the realities of the secondary jewelry market.

What We Consider

• Gold, platinum and gemstone content
• Construction, craftsmanship and maker
• Age, rarity and design character
• Condition and any disclosed restoration
• Independent reports or appraisals when available
• Comparable pieces and current market demand

Appraisal Value Is Not Always Selling Price

An insurance appraisal estimates replacement cost and can be much higher than the price a piece is likely to sell for. When an appraisal is included, we show it as documentation—not as a promise of resale value.
